Description:

This project is to renovate the Town of Wilson Creek's main park. The picnic shelter needs a new roof and electricity installed to make it usable at night. Other repairs and painting will be done also. The children's swing and slide will be repaired or replaced. The restrooms will be renovated and repaired. Two broken picnic tables and BBQ grills will be replaced plus 6 new sets installed. Landscaping will be improved by planting 24 new trees and the installation of an underground irrigation system. The parking areas around the park will be improved with curbing on two sides and adding crushed rock with a BST surface on all four sides of the park.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
