Description:

This project will address an existing and future demand for a unique camping experience. The project will develop a portion of 15 acres of waterfront property to furnish utilities to seven recreational vehicle sites. Five yurt campsites will be developed to provide alternative year round camping opportunities. Each yurt site will be furnished with a covered picnic table, power and water. An additional restroom with shelter and kitchen facilities, and a shower will also be constructed. The park currently offers boating, beach walking, field sports, picnicking, bird watching, ship watching, kite flying, facilities for family reunions, and club camp outs.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
