Description:

The Trolley Trail Acquisition is just over one linear mile (5377.28 feet) by one-hundred feet of hard-packed trail, 12.34 acres, that was the Washington Water Power/Medical Lake Railroad bed. The subject property includes wooded areas, and is adjacent to a 200+ wooded tract of State land. The trail is currently used by hikers, running groups, mountain bikers and equestrians. No development is desired by the general public. The subject property, along with two future donations, will connect with the Fish Lake Trail and Centennial Trail.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
