Description:

Expand facilities by providing an additional 50 campsites and one new camp area comfort station. Ninety percent of the available sites are prefilled through the reservation system. The remainder fill rapidly with drop ins. Between May and September, 1989, the park was full 98 nights and many potential campers were turned away. The use season is also expanding, 50 or more campers are common as early as March.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
