Description:

This key acquisition of 302 acres in the west half of Section 9 adds to the park and secures a recreation trail and wildlife corridor connecting Cougar, Squak, and Tiger Mountains of the Issaquah Alps . This purchase completes a long range plan to protect the physical integrity of this corridor.

Location:
Adjacent to Squak Mountain State Park, approximately two miles south of Issaquah. Road access is off May Valley Rd.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
