Acquisition of 50 acres located on Loomis Lake on the Long Beach Peninsula. This interdunal area has an abundance of biolets which provide a food source for the Silverspot Butterfly. Better access to Loomis Lake, a popular trout fishing area, will also be provided.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
