Location:
Sites are located on theThea Foss Waterway and on Ruston Way along Commencement Bay. #1 Dickman Mill: From I-5, take the I-705 (City Center Exit). Take the Schuster Parkway exit. From Schuster Parkway, proceed on to Ruston Way. The Dickman Mill Site is approximately 0.2 miles past the McCarver Street intersection and Old Town Dock. #2 Ruston Way: Ruston Way along Commencement Bay in Tacoma. From I-5 take the City Center exit onto SR-705, take the Schuster Parkway exit to Ruston Way. GIS coordinates identified for access points of property acquired along the corridor. Alder used for project midpoint. 42nd Street - GIS: 47 17' 14" and 122 29' 11" Alder Street - GIS: 47 16' 44" and 122 28' 37" (used as midpoint for Ruston Way corridor) #3 Thea Foss Waterway: From I-5 take I-705 north to the 'A" Street exit. Take a left at South 14th. At the end of the ramp, go 1 block, take a left at Pacific then go 1 block south to 15th and take a left. Follow 15th under the freeway and over a ramp to Dock Street. Go left 3 blocks to 1821 Dock (old brick warehouse)

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
