Description:

This acquisition project protects over 3,000 acres of high priority critical properties in nine proposed preserves in arid eastern Washington. These lands contain high quality examples of native plant communities and rare plant sites and provide important wildlife and riparian habitats.

Location:
Located less than one mile from Rockport State Park on Highway 20, east of the Town of Concrete. Beyond Shuler Road, it is the mountain above Rock Bluff along the side of Hwy 20.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
