This project consists of the acquisition of approximately 100 acres of available uplands along Little Spokane River adjacent to Riverside State Park. This area is the perfect setting for public access and a natural habitat for wildlife. There is great potential for both water and land based trails and interpretive sites.

Six miles northwest of Spokane, Washington. Beginning at the Waikiki Road Bridge, drive downstream on the Rutter Parkway to the other end at the SR 291 junction.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
