Description:

This project consists of additional development at this park site in Thurston County, which includes a large park and sports complex to meet the city's critical need for athletic fields and open space. Work in this phase included development of fields, picnic sites, trails to and along the Deschutes River, landscaping and parking.

Location:
Half mile south of Yelm Highway, off Henderson Boulevard and bordering the Deschutes River.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
