Description:

Pearrygin Lake State Park is a 584-acre camping park in the Methow Valley in north central Washington. The park features expansive green lawns leading to 7,500 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake. The lake offers swimming, fishing and boating. State Parks has been actively acquiring land over the past few years to acquire more waterfront and expand opportunities for trails. State Parks hopes to acquire 304 acres from the Court family, including the 184-acre Bear Creek Golf Course, and 120 acres of land north of that. This project will provide funding for the 120 acres north of the course. The golf course itself will be acquired by State Park using independent funds.

From Winthrop or Twisp, take the Eastside Winthrop-Twisp Road, then turn east on Bear Creek Road. Follow signs to Bear Creek Golf Course, approximately one mile.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
