Description:

This project will significantly enhance a regional softball facility that serves two counties and seven communities. The lighting of these fields will provide Pasco the opportunity to schedule at least 42 more softball games a week thus maximizing the use of one of the best designed softball facilities in the state. There is currently one high school, one college and five recreation leagues representing over 140 teams desiring to play their games at this site. The development of the six fields has been a partnership with the City in cooperation with the Franklin County, Pasco High School and Columbia Basin College. The playing field lights is the third and final phase of the development that started in 1998.

From Interstate 82 or US 395 take the I182 exit to Pasco. Take Exit 9 off I182 at Road 68, go north on Road 68 from the off ramp 1/4 mile, turn right at the light on Burden Blvd. Take the next right on Home Run Road into the complex parking lot.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
