Description:

In 1997 the youth of Sultan banned together and approached the City Council requesting the City to provide property for a basketball court, and the youth would raise the money to build it. After two years raising funds throughout the community, a 64' X 90' basketball court was built. Part of the project was IAC funded; the lighting and surround amenities. This application to IAC is to build a 72' X 96' cover for the court to provide year round play for Sultan's youth.

Location:
From I-5 in Everett take the SR 2/Wenatchee exit. Follow SR 2 to Sultan (approximately 27 miles). When approaching Sultan, go through the traffic signal, over the bridge and take the first left on 3rd St. Go 1 block to the stop sign on Main Street and turn left again. Follow Main Street around the turn to the right and it turns into 1st St. Follow First St. to the stop sign on 1st and High. Osprey Park is on the left.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
