Description:

This project in Grant County develops and improves an existing recreation area for five surrounding communities. A one mile nature trail and one mile multi-purpose path will be build. An existing ballfield will be renovated, and a new field added. Playground equipment will be upgraded to accommodate children with disabilities.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
