Description:
Purchase 32 acres of land located near the center of State Park on the Miller Peninsula. The property is zoned heavy industrial. The existing industry [Pacific Aerospace and Electronics Inc] uses explosives to fuse metals. This is an extremely conflicting use to the public enjoyment of the park. We are planning to start initial development of the park in 2003-2005. We are anticipating this property will house core facilities for this park as well as the other state parks on the Olympic Peninsula
Location:
Take Hwy 101 West towards Sequim. Past Discovery Bay turn North on Diamond Point Road. About 2 miles down the road turn left on a road leading to Pacific Aerospace. (Sign by Diamond Point Road still says North West Technical Industries which is what it was called before they merged with Pacific Aerospace). Drive 1.3 miles to the end of that road and you have reached the most developed portion of Pacific Aerospace Property.
