Description:

This acquisition would preserve the entirety of the only remaining undeveloped lake larger than 25 acres in Kitsap County. The Miller Lake property is 255 acres of forested splendor with a 30 acre fresh water lake. The site is gently sloping from west to east. The property is located in North Kitsap County between Poulsbo and Kingston and has access off of Bond Road/State Hwy 104. The lake would provide varous non-motorized water access in an area that currently has no public access to fresh water shoreline.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
