Description:

Pierce County Parks and Centralia City Light propose to install a large play area at a boat launch site on the Nisqually River. The play area will include a swing, play apparatus, picnic table and trash container. The playground base, consisting of Fibar 300/drainage, will be 12"deep. Rubber mats will be installed at the slide areas for better accessibility.

Location:
Spanaway-McKenna Highway to the northwest and the Nisqually River to the southern boundary line. From Olympia going south on I-5, take the 510 turnoff to Yelm, going through Yelm and on to McKenna. As you cross the Nisqually River, Walt's Tavern is on the right-hand side. The property goes around Walt's place like a U.
