Description:

This acquisition added approximately ten acres for a future neighborhood park. The site will serve as a future trailhead for the May Creek Trail corridor that will run from the mouth of May Creek on Lake Washington to Cougar Mountain Regional Park.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
