This project will acquire 20 acres of waterfront land, including 15 acres upland and 5 acres of tideland along Hood Canal. The property enjoys approximately 1200 feet of waterfront including 600 of "no bank" waterfront and is located in an area with no other public access to Hood Canal. The need for this type of property was identified in the 1994 Kitsap Comprehensive Park, Recreation & Habitat Plan that identified the desire to develop a watertrail along the shore of Hood Canal.

From Bremerton, take Kitsap Way west. Bear left on Northlake way for approximately 1 mile. Turn left (west) on Seabeck Highway. Go approximately three miles and turn left on Holly Road. When Holly Road dead ends into Seabeck-Holly Road, turn left toward Holly. Take the last left off of Seabeck-Holly Road before entering the community of Holly onto Holly-Dewatto Road. Go approximately three miles and turn right on a gated, unmarked logging road. Follow logging road two miles to property. Contact Kent Whitehead (206-587-2447) to arrange for access.
