Description:

Larkspur Meadow complex consists of mosaic open meadows dominated by perennial herbs and rhizomatous grasses, hardwood shrub thickets and aspen groves. Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine forest areas are included. Area is habitat for Washington's largest known populations of Wenatchee larkspur and Oregon Checker-mallow.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
