This project involves the acquisition of a 7.7 acre neighborhood park located in a rapidly growing residential area two miles northeast of the Vancouver city limits. Lalonde Creek flows across the northeast corner of the property. This project will provide the only outdoor recreation facilities within the site's 0.5 mile service area radius. Future improvements will include picnic tables, children's play equipment, a hard-surfaced play court, open play meadow, and pedestrian and bicycle trails.

Lalonde Creek Park is located on the north side of NE 99th Street one mile east of Gaiser Middle School. From Interstate 5, take the 99th Street exit and drive two miles east.
