Description:

This project provides matching funds for a federal grant to repair trestles on the John Wayne Pioneer Trail. The western trestle is at Hall Creek at Olallie State Park. The eastern locations will bridge the Yakima River at the site of a previous structure. Three parcels will be acquired in conjunction with the development work.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
