Description:

Purchased approximately three fourths of a mile of trail corridor along the Green River. Horseshoe Bend will connect with the City of Kent's Green River Trail properties through Kent. Once completed, the trail system will traverse from Duwamish Head in Seattle through Tukwila, Renton, Kent, and Auburn to Flaming Geyser State Park.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
