Description:

This is the second phase of development at Horse Heaven Hills Park. The first phase included construction of open play areas, softball field improvements, a playground, picnic sites, restrooms, trails, access road and parking. This second phase expands the basic park components of this city/school district partnership project with the construction of tennis and basketball courts, a picnic shelter, and other park amenities.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
