The overall proposal includes a 4.86 acre donation by the Washington Grange which has a 1950's vintage grange hall, located on 1.79-acres being reserved for the community center. The remaining 3.07 acres will be incorporated into the park. The local bi-county Master Gardener Foundation has begun a demonstration garden within the park. The have committed to donated labor to assist in the project plantings and to the long term maintenance or the garden.
