Description:
Extends the existing 4.6 mile Yakima Greenway Trail an additional 2.8 miles from Robertson's Landing to the City of Union Gap. The trail follows the Yakima River and has picnic sites, rest areas, vault toilets, parking, and signs along the route. The Yakima Greenway was developed with significant volunteer support from Yakimas citizens, and is a very popular local facility.

Project Site Robertson Landing to Valley Mall Blvd. [From I 82 in Yakima, take the Yakima Avenue exit, proceed east to 18th Street, South on 18th Street to Sarge Hubbard Park, the central point of the Yakima Greenway.] To access Greenway South Use Exit 36 from I 82 [Valley Mall Blvd], turn East straight ahead to trailhead in Union Gap.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
