Description:

This project is for the construction of five miles of paved trail surface from the Duwamish River turning basin in south Seattle to Tukwila, largely following the Duwamish/Green River. Trail is part of a planned 55 mile loop running through Seattle, Tukwila, Kent, Auburn, Flaming Geyser State Park, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, and Renton.

Location:
From Seattle city limits to Fort Dent, along Duwamish River.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
