Description:

Acquisition of approximately 4.5 miles of trail right of way from Lake Wilderness Park to near the Town of Black Diamond. This segment is part of a planned 55 mile paved trail loop from Duwamish Head in Seattle, through Tukwila, Kent, Auburn, Flaming Geyser State Park, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, and Renton. Future development will also include a soft surface equestrian trail.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
