Description:

This project agreement transferred and installed two 6 historic cannons from their former location in Newfoundland, Canada, to Fort Columbia State Park on the Columbia River. The project enhances the park’s interpretive facilities.

Location:
On Highway 101, two miles southeast of Community of Chinook, at highway tunnel. Park entrance is on west end of tunnel.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
