Description:

Acquire privately held uplands and tidelands on Keystone Spit, located 3 miles south of Coupeville. Project goal is to provide a continuous publicly owned beach for recreation along Keystone Spit, a 7,690 foot low bank and gravel beach, located southeast of Fort Casey State Park.

Location:
Just south of Fort Casey State Park, fronting Admiralty Inlet. Three miles from Coupeville on Whidbey Island. Take the Anacortes/Whidbey Island exit (#230), and drive to the Whidbey Island turnoff. From there, proceed south on Hwy. 20 to Coupeville. The park is just past the Camp Casey barracks on the right.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
