Description:

Evergreen Park shall receive its first major renovation in 85 years. It currently has old, tired equipment and structures with limited recreational opportunities. The major improved/new features in Phase 1 include: picnic shelters, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, expanded trail system, new playground equipment, and additional parking including a handicapped turnaround. These improvements will increase park usage improve safety, and provide recreational features and sites for today's users as identified in surveys and public meetings with the community.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
