Description:

Acquire the 6.6 acre Bloomfield property adjacent to Dosewallips State Park. The property lies east of highway 101 and north of the Dosewallips River. Shellfish access from the park is presently via a difficult trail from the camp area. Reasonable, safe beach access from the day use area is not available. This acquisition would provide an ideal trailhead parking area with direct access to state park land that includes the Dosewallips River delta, one of the prime public shellfishing areas of the state.
