This project will allow State Parks to purchase the south half of the Odell ownerships and specifically, the Odell property south of Rosario Road. This piece of the Odell ownership is the most critical piece in terms of managing and protecting a buffer adjacent to the state park's Bowman Bay campground. State Parks would manage this property as a buffer area adjacent to the waterfront campground, with trails and possibly a viewpoint to be developed on the property in the future. Expansion of the existing campground onto this property is not anticipated.
