Description:

This project involves the development of 4.5 miles of the Chehalis Western Trail. Starting in Olympia and Lacey, this project joins with the Yelm to Tenino Trail and provides a 10 12' wide paved trail, road crossings, signing, trailheads, restroom facilities, and interpretive signing.

Location:
Just south of the South Sound Mall in Lacey, running 4.5 miles south.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
