Description:

Snohomish County bought 44 miles of abandoned railway from the Snohomish/Skagit County line to the Snohomish/King County line, parallel to State Route 9. To be developed in phases, the trail will have non motorized recreation uses including bicycling, jogging, horseback riding, and walking.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
