Description:
The purpose of this project is for the protection of 50 acres in Klickitat County which includes a 3.5 acre lake and provides habitat for the threatened western pond turtle.
Location:
Traveling east on Highway 14, turn left onto Old Highway 8 [Lyle White Salmon Road]. There are two left hand turns onto Balch Lake Road. Take the second left onto Balch Lake Road. Property borders Balch Lake Road on the left up to junction with McClain Tuthill Road.
