Description:

This acquisition project is located in South Kitsap County directly facing east to Vashon Island. The site is 72.59 acres in size with 1,985 feet of waterfront, sandy/gravelly lowbank access. The uplands are forested and undeveloped. Much of the upland is in steep topography, however, a good service road traverses the site to the beach access which includes an extensive but easily accessible 7 acres of level spit area along the waterfront.

Location:
From Hwy 16 from Tacom/Port Orchard--Exit east on Sedgwick Road. Go approximately 3 miles to Banner Road, Turn right (south), go approximately 4 miles and turn east on SE Millihana Road (name of telephone pole). Go a short distance to a locked gate. A well established road leads 1/2 mile down to the beach front.

WHAT IS THE WWRP?

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
