Description:

Purchase of 25 acres of mature riparian conifer/broadleaf forest along the lower Columbia River in Wahkiakum County. The area is essential habitat for eagles year round and supports peregrine falcons and waterfowl as well.

Along the lower Columbia River, adjacent to the Grays River Estuary.

The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) is a state grant program that creates and conserves local and state parks, wildlife habitat and working farms. The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office administers WWRP grants, and the legislature funds the program.
