$70 Million for WWRP Grants Helps Communities Around the State
In April the state legislature allocated $70 million for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program. This funds 95 projects in the state's capital construction budget. An Olympian editorial describes statewide benefits of this appropriation. Although it is a 30% cut, $70 million helps communities around the state access the great outdoors. See the media release.
