$500,000 was provided through the WWRP grant program in 1999 for the development of the Evans Creek Trail, phase I for walking, biking and horseback riding. Phase I links Conrad Olson Farm, Perrigo Community Park and Johnson Park.
The site is the intersection of Union Hill Road and NE 196th Ave on the north side of the road where Evans Creek Trail ends at Union Hill Road.
