Wa Wildlife and Recreation Coalition's
2006 Evening in the Wild Event!


Please join us as we kick off the Coalition’s
campaign to secure $100 million for 133 parks,
trails, habitat areas, and working farms.

When: Tuesday, November 14, 2006
            6:00 – 8:00 PM

Where: The Burke Museum
             University of Washington, Seattle

Cost: Admission is free.
         Donations will be requested during the program.

About the Coalition
The Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition is
the founder and chief advocate for the Washington
Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP), a state
grant program that creates parks and protects
habitat and working farms in communities around
the state.

Since 1990, the Coalition has advocated for the
WWRP raising more than $450 million for over 775
of your neighborhood parks and ball fields, biking
and walking trails, nature preserves, local beaches
and boat launches, wildlife habitat, and state parks.

Directions
The Burke Museum is located just minutes from
downtown Seattle on the northwest corner of the
University of Washington campus near the corner of
17th Avenue NE and NE 45th Street.

From I-5: Exit east onto NE 45th Street. Travel
east on NE 45th Street to 17th Avenue NE. Turn
right onto 17th. The museum will be immediately on
your right.

From 520: Exit north onto Montlake Boulevard NE.
Turn left onto NE Pacific Street. Turn right and head
north on 15th Avenue NE. Turn right and head east
on NE 45th St. Take your next right on 17th Avenue
NE. The museum will be immediately on your right.

Parking
Street parking is available along 15th Avenue and
University Way. Paid parking is available for $5 at
the campus gatehouse located at the 17th Avenue
entrance to the University.
