Internships
Learn about the state legislative process, help protect the environment through real world experience, and even earn credits! Intern projects range from online communications projects to outreach, legislative, and environmental research projects.
Intern projects include:
- Communications: write articles and update organization public relation materials including website, e-newsletter, newsletter and other materials.
- Outreach: work with our 65+ board members and 130 member organizations to educate the public and decision makers on the importance of parks, habitat and working farms in Washington State.
Educational Benefits: Through their experience with the Coalition, interns have the opportunity to learn about statewide environmental policy, environmental protection and land conservation.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience with PC computers including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and a working knowledge of how to access the Internet to conduct research and find data. A commitment of 15 hours or more per week is required for a minimum of 3 months.
